Our 'hidden' history

Almost nobody knows about these two people, saints, St.Cyril and Metod, the patrons of the Europe.
Because of them we heve the language and mostly the Christian religion (they translated the Bible what is rooted in Jesus Christ and teached us) which is tightly connected with the real values like love, self-sacrifice, compassion, charity, reverence to neighbour, worship to only God creator, etc.. that are slowly disappearing in our times. Thanks to the authoryty of the -ism regimes. Obviously they were cast out from Great Moravia. And here is the question: what prevents us to live these values today?
